Social workers are having a great job to help others. No matter what the condition of people helped such as financial difficulty, drug abuse, homelessness problem, educational problems, and many others. There are several social jobs and the most common divisions are based on the job types. Based on the job types, the job is divided into professional jobs, administrative jobs, and family service jobs.

Professional social work jobs are ones that include special ability like doctor, architect, nurse, teacher, and many others. This job type requires professional because it deals with technical skill. The administrative jobs are dealing with survey, policymaking, and many others. People who want to join the administrative jobs are usually people who are familiar with administrative and law field, so make sure to familiar with the subjects if we want to join this job type.

On the family service jobs area, people with psychology and sociology background are needed because it deals with people’s character and social aspects. Therefore, if we have an interest on social work jobs, make sure to choose the right type of jobs based on our ability. Even though most of the social workers are taken from psychology, sociology, medical, and law, but it does not mean that people from other educational field cannot join the jobs. For example, people who have linguistic ability are often worked on the social jobs because there are so many NGO from other countries make a project abroad.
