When designing marketing plans marketing management takes account of other groups of the company as senior management, finance, research and development, purchasing, manufacturing, accounting. All these groups are interrelated internal environment. Top management establishes the mission, objectives, broad strategies and policies of the company, so that marketing managers make decisions within those plans. Marketing managers should also work closely with other departments of the company. Finance is concerned with getting and using funds to carry out the marketing plan. Accounting needs to measure profits and marketing costs to help determine whether it is achieving its objectives or not. Together, these departments plans and actions affecting the marketing department. Under the concept of marketing, all these functions should consider the consumer and work in harmony to deliver customer satisfaction and superior value.
